Hi, the issues with the sidebar links you mentioned on #wikimedia-stewards have now been fixed (the problem was that for some strange reason, the "Project:" variable on lez.wikipedia.org was interpreted in a wrong way when a space was behind it lez:Mediawiki:Portal-url, lez:Mediawiki:currentevents-url). About the protection of the main page, this is not a necessity; additionally, the project currently has no sysops and also no autoconfirmed users because of its newness, so this would be counterproductive. Apologies, but this is the only place I can edit. I'd like to request IPBE for meta locally, until April 18th 2013. My ISP is paid for by my workplace, and as a result of their deciding what I can and cannot use, I'm restricted from a lot of stuff I'd normally have access to, including web and IRC. Web is handled by a paid proxy service called Anonymox, and through this, I either appear as being in various parts of Germany, or the USA. I already have IPBE on Commons, English and French Wikipedia, and Tok Pisin Wikipedia, where I am an administrator. This is the only site I am left without access to, that I would normally use.
