Steward requests/SUL requests

Stewards: for instructions, see the steward handbook. The interface is at Special:CentralAuth.

Here's a place where you can request accounts with offensive names or vandal-only contributions to be banned and hidden from the global user list.

Here you can request your account deletion and usurpation on wikis without active bureaucrats, or request the deletion of a global account if you need to be renamed or to usurp an account elsewhere. Please add new requests at the bottom!

If you want to request the renaming of multiple accounts on wikis without local crats please use the format:

I was trying to create on en-wiki same account as on ru-wiki (ru:user:AVB), but this was prohibited because account en:user:Avb already exist. I create en:user:AVBr and by mistake link it into SUL. Now this SUL account interfere with my local ru-wiki account - when I log into en-wiki, this also re-logs on ru-wiki from local account AVB to AVBr. • Joining of AVBr changes into en:user:AVB/ru:user:AVB changes will be ideal soultion, thanks. If this not possible, you may just remove AVBr (there is not much of changes), because AVB now works fine (looks like SUL allows differently-cased accounts, unlike native wiki accouting). -- 217.172.29.40 10:47, 31 July 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

Hi Spacebirdy, now for me i don't care, its more about cleaning up because i am going to abandon the mion account anyway, problem inhere is i can move for example to the DE wiki and ask there, but i can't login there and have to reveal my IP number to do so, a lot of work for little edits. Hi Mion, if You want to change Your accountname on Meta, please leave a note on Meta:Changing username, this here might not get noticed, also it is not quite obvious what exactly the request is about. Usurping Mion?.

I thought so, so I striped them, the problem is, none of the the passwords work on these accounts, so 1 way is to email me a new password for User:Mion(meta) to nl:Gebruiker:Mion after that I do Global unification of the Meta account with the dutch account. fi:Wikipedia:Käyttäjätunnuksen vaihto/pyynnöt#RJM → RJM (Usurped) not done: fi:User:RJM have GFDL-notable edits. In this case only way to obtain this user name is trying to contact user itself and request if (s)he is willing to change user name. Unfortunately user have not confirmed e-mail address so reaching user might be hard. Future, please use fi:WP:USURP if requested username exists.
