Pichikuri[1] is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Air Ride . It gives the Needle ability when inhaled.
Physical Appearance[ ]
Pichikuri is a pink spherical creature that looks and behaves similarly to fish and birds. It has small pink wings and a small feathery tail. Facially, it has a small orange beak and large blue eyes. Pichikuri also wears a spike-covered helmet that resembles a cracked eggshell.

Kirby Air Ride and Kirby Air Riders [ ]
Pichikuri often floats in groups, and will attack with its spiky helmet if someone gets too close. It can be found in Fantasy Meadows, Celestial Valley, Sky Sands, and Machine Passage.
Kirby: Canvas Curse [ ]
Pichikuri appears as one of the possible drawings in Paint Panic. Its drawing is composed of two parts: the first part has the player draw Pichikuri's body, and the second part adds the spikes onto the helmet.
Etymology[ ]
Pichicri's name comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia for birds chirping, ピーチクパーチク (pīchikupāchiku), referencing its bird-like nature; the Japanese onomatopoeia for fish jumping around, ピチピチ (pichipichi), referencing its fish-like nature; and the Japanese onomatopoeia for something prickling/stinging, チクリ (chikuri), referencing its spiky helmet.
