Embirds are enemies in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Epic Yarn .
Physical Appearance[ ]
Embirds are small, orange, flaming birds. They have yellow wings, a beak, and a dark purple button eye.

Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn [ ]
Embirds only appear in the battle with Hot Wings, being spawned by her. Embirds fly in a straight, horizontal pattern. There can be as many as six on screen at once. Embirds will hurt Kirby and Prince Fluff if they come into contact with them. The enemies can be wrapped up and thrown back at Hot Wings.
Etymology[ ]
Embird is a portmanteau of "ember", referring to Embird's fiery nature, and "bird", referring to its bird-like design.
Trivia[ ]
- When Kirby grabs an Embird in the 2010 Kirby's Epic Yarn trailer, the enemy transforms immediately into an explosive missile, which Kirby hurls at Hot Wings. This was changed in the final product.
