Buttonflies are enemies in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Epic Yarn .
Physical Appearance[ ]
Buttonflies are small, green flies with transparent wings, small black antennae, and a two black lines on their backside.

Buttonflies do not attack. Instead, they just fly around in a set pattern and can easily be yarn-whipped and thrown. When wrapped up in a yarn ball and tossed, it will turn into a single ball that homes in on enemies.
They first appear on the Flower Fields level and later appear in multiple stages, usually in stages that involve the Spin Boarder form. They usually appear along with Buttonbees. When wound up into a yarn ball they home in on enemies when tossed.

- The Buttonfly's cast description advises the player to be careful around it. Exactly what the description is warning of is unclear, as Buttonflies have no means of attack and largely just serve as yarn ball fodder.
