Buster is a character in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Epic Yarn .

Buster is a brown and chartreuse hexagonal shaped being with stubby legs.

He is the tenant in Apartment #301. Dom Woole will request Kirby to decorate it with the right furniture in order to invite him. Buster plays a game with Kirby in which he'll have to defeat a specific number of enemies in a given time while not taking hits. The player gets penalized five seconds each time Kirby is hit and also adds five seconds to the player's completion time, and if Kirby is hit with less than five seconds remaining, the player will fail instantly. Most of the time, Buster will give Kirby wallpaper with an enemy or boss on it.

Etymology[ ]

Like all the tenants, Buster's name is derived from the sub-game Kirby plays with him. In this case the source would be "busting" (beating up).

Buster is one of the few characters in the Kirby series that Kirby can visit and converse with outside of cutscenes. Others include Daroach, Magolor, and the other inhabitants of Quilty Square.
