the idea is to launch a website which is a social network of environmental activists, Main feature of this social network would be th e possibility of reporting environmental issue and geotagging these contents in a way that could generate geographical RSS feed from them or a geographical newsletter which would be sent to activist in the same area...

Needing developer for advanced real estate site

I am looking for fairly advanced functionality- something beyond drupalrealestate.com or other "theme" packages.
I need an advanced developer, not someone on their 3rd or 4th site.
No IDX integration needed.

How to maintain GMap location and zoom when navigating back

I apologize in advance for duplication but I also posted this over here: http://drupal.org/node/945446

I have a GMap with several nodes that come from a view and when the user click the node title inside the marker's bubble it get redirected to the actual node. However if the user goes back to the map these values are reset to the initial values and I need to present the map as s/he left it.

Right now I'm saving the latitude, longitude, and zoom in a cookie and successfully recovering these values when the map page is presented again map for some reason the map is not getting centered.

Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Map My Ride: great interface

For those who might be interested, I came across this really cool site that allows you to setup routes for running/cycling using google maps, along with some other nice goodes, like an elevation change graph so you can see where the hard parts are.
