Thoughts on Community Media 2014

Posted by jdcreativity on January 6, 2014 at 2:49pm

Over the past few weeks as 2013 wound down and a new year spun up, I was feeling compelled to open up a conversation about the Community Media Drupal / CiviCRM kits.

I'm curious to hear about how organizations and individuals are faring with this solution for managing community media organizations and their video content. And I would like to know every instance of an organization using this software. I really hope that the adoption of these Starterkits has grown.

Looking for a good Drupal Monthly Meet up in London

Posted by drupalfan81 on November 7, 2013 at 12:01pm

Hey Guys!

First time joining a group on Drupal.org! This group was referring to me by the California Drupal group. I just recently moved to London from Tokyo. I have a few Drupal websites I manage, one being www.YoNinja.com. I was hoping to meet some fellow Drupalers in London and discuss all things Drupal related. I checked out meetup.com and there seems to be quite a few Drupal meetup groups out there. Does anyone have a recommended group?

I am looking for something that meets monthly during weekdays afterhours ( after 6pm ) in central London.

Nice to meet you all!

Josh

Looking for local co-developer for any Module Idea

Posted by nilashis on July 20, 2013 at 10:54am

I am an intermediate Drupal developer (been seriously doing drupal sites for 1.5 year now).

I am interested in working on modules (to eventually publish on drupal.org) but I do not want to work alone. I want to experience and learn collaboration in writing code.

If you have ideas for for modules you think the Drupal Community could benefit from, would like to hear. If you are interested in working together, that would be great; you can message me.

Wunderkit as collaboration hub for MSS

Posted by tsvenson on March 14, 2012 at 7:49pm

I have been playing around with the Wunderkit beta a bit and really like how you can organize projects, tasks and notes in a lightweight way.

Since they also recently made it completely free to use it there is no cost obstacle involved. It is still in beta and the features planned are really appealing.

I've added a space for us there at https://www.wunderkit.com/#/drupal-media-support-squad/profile. It is a public space so anyone can follow it if the want.

Newbie here. With a major offering.

Posted by jackspiv on December 28, 2011 at 8:55pm

Hi, My name is Jack Spivak. In Boulder, Colorado, USA.

Please check out this full featured and, so far, "unadvertised" drupal communities installation/platform, GrassrootsPower!!

Just got excited to see that Transition is thinking about drupal!

I'm joining your conversation for whatever I can offer/provide. Been working about 3 years already to put a robust Drupal offering together for groups/communities interested in doing productive work together. It is based on a social network backbone but has a purpose and interface with a decided workgroup flavor. It is specifically targeted at social, economic and environmental justice movements and includes some very novel concepts around automatic information sharing based on principles of knowledge ecosystems and communities of practice.
