Cardiff July meetup

Following on from the conversation at https://groups.drupal.org/node/471318, we're going to have a meetup in Cardiff at some point in July.

If anyone wants to put themselves forward for a talk (45 minutes - 1 hour maximum) that would be great, and to discuss how we get a regular scheduled event going again.

SWDUG Autumn 2014 Meetup

Does anyone have any preference when we want to do the next meetup?

I'd suggest November as December is likely to be busy with Christmas parties etc.

A Tuesday would be good again, I think, to not conflict with DevOps Cardiff, PHPSW or Drupal Bristol which are all on Wednesdays.

Thoughts on SWDUG

I thought that I'd start this thread because I've been watching the Drupal Association webinar and the Talking Drupal podcast about Drupal meetups and I was wondering what people's thoughts were about the SWDUG meetups, and why the interest seems to tail off after a few meetups. Is it an issue with the day and/or time, venue, content?

Christmas?

I know that there hasn't much activity in this group lately, but does anyone want to do anything before Christmas? A few drinks or a meal, maybe, if a few people are interested?
