In the past couple weeks, I've been approached by two different educational institutions on whether I knew of any Drupal developers living here in South Dakota for potential hiring. Unfortunately, I haven't kept tabs on developers or development companies within South Dakota that work with Drupal.

Any Drupal fans from the Sioux Falls area open to a road trip to Omaha, NE for their October Drupal meeting? The meeting is on Tuesday, Oct 20 and begins at 6:30 PM. http://groups.drupal.org/node/26936

Thanks to those who responded with some interest in a South Dakota Drupal user group. I'm curious how many would be interested in an actual meetup? I'd like to suggest for the first meetup to be in Sioux Falls, but I'm sure we are all open to other locations in South Dakota.

So anybody have any ideas on location or topic for a first meetup? With numbers likely to be small for a first meetup, this doesn't have to be anything formal. Let's throw some ideas around...
