mapplet

Hi guys!

I'm in need of the perfect location selector to efficiently geocode lots of my data. Are any of you guys working on something that might be useful? We should be able to 1. Input place names 2. Input addresses 3. Place pin on map -- to get lat/long out at the other end.

Sorry to put this in story, it's a question I have !

Does somebody has plans with the Google Mapplets ? Basically a Mapplet is like a Google Maps mashup but the map can also be published on Google Maps, if the user adds the Mapplet. There's a thread about this here too.
