I'm developping an OA Intranet for a french city hall administration. My question is : is there a way, maybe via plugins, to bind Drupal content to specific external apps , e.g human resources, accounting...
The main purpose is to avoid entering one information two times within two diferent interfaces.

... there's a short video about pseudents (pseudo-students). They're make-believe students who go through a course with the real students. Authors can use pseudents to address metacognitive issues, show students what not to do, etc.

CyberCourse makes it easy to set up pseudents, and use them in course content.

The proposed plugin system that is a foundational component for scotch is in the issue queue and has been heavily reviewed by core and plugins developers. In an effort to satisfy certain DX concerns with the Plugin system, an example plugin type module (with associated plugins) and significant documentation have been created. In the hopes that we could illicit the opinions of developers who are not currently involved in the discussion, two issues have been created with relatively simple tasks outlined.

The plugin system proposed for Drupal 8 has gotten a lot of reviews at this point but is largely from either OCTO, D8 co-maintainers or the actual developers of the plugin system. We need some fresh eyes to come in and start looking over the system we've built. To facilitate the easing of this process, I have done my best to document most of the basics of the system. At a recent LA Drupal Meeting, Mike mentioned he uses IDE geany on Ubuntu. I've started using and like it. (Apart from the strange way to save a Project, and the need to support many Projects.)

So, I'm publicly posting asking Mike, on any member, for plugin recommendations. These are what I'm staring at now:

I'm a bit late in getting this out, but such is life when moving and attending a wedding. :-)

We had a good Core Conversation on Butler in Chicago. Sadly Dries ended up not being able to attend, but just about everyone else was on board with the roadmap. The roadmap itself hasn't changed much since Copenhagen, but things are moving again. There was also considerable talk of very, very interesting tie-ins to the configuration/deployment core initiatives, as having a more robust pre-database configuration option should help resolve a lot of the challenges we were looking at.

I am the co-founder of the Mediabird Study Notes software, which is an extension to existing LMS.

Mediabird is a collaborative online notepad that allows small study groups to collaboratively work on shared notes at any time. It is not only possible to extend notes or edit them at the same time but in particular Mediabird allows users to annotate notes and ask questions about them. With that respect, Mediabird combines the ideas of a wiki and of a forum but is not as public as a wiki and relates questions to the notes rather than separating them as done in a forum.
