Interested in a group train to Montreal for Drupal North? (June 16-19)

Posted by Anonymous on May 2, 2016 at 8:18pm

Please note we weren't able to arrange a decent discount with Via Rail. Attendees are booking their own train fares.

The 2nd annual Drupal North Regional Summit is happening on June 16-19 in Montreal.

We're gauging interest in a DrupalTO group train ride to the conference.

Schedule:
- June 16th: Toronto to Montreal (leave early afternoon)
- June 19th: Montreal to Toronto (leave morning)

Via Rail indicated the round trip cost is 253ドル.12 per person. That price guarantees group seating.

Posted by mirabuck on March 27, 2012 at 5:03pm

Hello everyone,

Montreal's local Drupal Association is planning to run a 3 day Accessibility code sprint in June. Everett Zufelt of and Mike Gifford have both expressed an interest in helping to lead the sprint. (削除) We're currently looking at June 15-17 as our dates. A facility has not yet been booked, but Montreal's Notman House has been suggested. It was used successfully for our i18n sprint back in September. (削除ここまで) We're holding the sprint from June 15th to 17th at the offices of Evolving Web, 114-300 rue du Saint-Sacrement

Hello everyone,

Montreal's 4th annual DrupalCamp is open for registration at http://www.drupalcampmontreal.com. We are once again running and education track and are looking for session proposals.

This year's camp takes place between the 16th and 18th of September at the McIntyre Medical Building on the McGill University campus here in Montreal. Our Keynote speakers this year are Drupal 7 co-maintainer Angie 'webchick' Byron and HTML5 evangelist Jen Simmons. Gábor Hojtsy, the co-maintainer of Drupal 6 will also be leading a related internationalization code sprint running from the 14th through to the end of the camp. We expect to have more than 30 sessions running in simultaneous tracks as well as both free and paid training occurring on the Friday afternoon.

We're open any session topics that relate to education including Drupal as a CMS for higher-ed, Drupal as an LMS, strategies for deployment, scalability and support, etc.

If you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to ask.

Many thanks,

Andrew Lindsay
McGill University

Design of our co-op

Posted by Anonymous on November 9, 2010 at 8:07pm

Our starting point is an existing 40-member co-op of IT professionals : http://osalliance.com/

It is almost exactly what we need, and because their design is licenced as Creative Commons Attribution, we can use it, change it ... as long as we give them credit for it, e.g. include their name. Moreover, they will help us ; at the very least, we will be part of their international network of cooperatives, which is good for visibility and so-on.
