Introducing the Western Ohio Drupal User Group

Posted by pfrilling on February 1, 2020 at 5:32pm

Hello fellow Ohioans!

@ablum and I decided to start a new Western Ohio group and are hosting a meetup on 2/19/2020 in Minster, Ohio. See the event page below for further details:

https://groups.drupal.org/node/535732

My goal in starting this new group is to share the knowledge I've gained over the past 12 years using Drupal and to continue learning, sharing and growing within the community.

I invite anyone in the area to join us and to come to our meetup on the 19th.

Thanks!
Phil

Columbus DrupalCamp?

Posted by crimsondryad on November 22, 2010 at 10:31pm

I was looking through the events for Drupalcamps coming up over the next 6 months and there are very few posted right now. Then I started thinking (not for the first time), that it would be really cool if we had a Drupal Camp in Columbus.

Has this group considered that before? How did it go?
Would anyone be interested in doing this? And if so, how do we get there (seems like a big project?)

Ohioans and DrupalCon San Fran

Posted by partmapleleaf on January 21, 2010 at 5:14am

Just wondering if any Ohioans will be attending DrupalCon San Fran? I'm an Ohio native living in British Columbia and my coworkers and I from northStudio.com will be making the trip. Would love to meet up with some Midwest Drupal users. :)

The Indy Drupal Users Group -- Invading Cincinnati?!

Posted by dougvann on October 28, 2008 at 4:32pm

Hey Cincinnati Gang, cross-post to Chicago gang...
Doug Vann here. I head up the Indiana group at groups.drupal.org/indiana Myself and 6 of our group just had a blast over at the www.drupalcampchicago.org While there the topic was raised that the midwest Drupalers need to unite and work together.
I'd like to check out one of your meetings maybe in December or January. The megabus.com can get me there non-stop round trip for anywhere from 3ドル to 20ドル depending on how early I book it. I could see who in our group would like to join me.
