Hey all,

I finally got around to installing Drupal 8! I like the built in responsive first Bartik theme, but there are a couple of other changes that are affecting my ability to add custom content to my new installation. The first is the removal of the php filter, and the second are the changes to the JavaScript API.

The removal of the php filter was a minor annoyance, but easily remedied by adding it to my installation. The changes to the JavaScript API however are proving to be my undoing.

Busy independent music company crossing film and TV landscape. Already built a platform for our endeavors but need help fine-tuning, beta testing and future proofing. We do some cool stuff and want someone cool who's up to speed and can come help imagine and deploy. Right candidate could become more involved and could lead to some fun and mayhem as we try to upset the current music, film and TV landscape a little more.

I meant to post the slides from our session but it slipped my mind. Thanks to Rob for reminding me.

It is an .odp file so for best results in viewing it I recommend LibreOffice. Keynote and PowerPoint should open it as well.

This isn't a Drupal related question. Sorry but I'm needing help with a JS/MySQL issue and I've got no other resources available to me. I am not proficient at either PHP or JS so please don't laugh too loud if/when I show my ignorance...! :) I know it's probably something small, simple and obvious to someone who knows what the heck they're doing.

The slideshow works. Huzzah! However, in addition to the previous and next arrows and the bullets, my client wants a text "More" link to also advance to the next slide. I'm about half way through my Javascript lessons and this is over my head. Anyone available to help? Do I need to write an extra JavaScript function, edit a tpl.php file?
