filtering

Jag har innehåll uppmärkt med taxonomy termer. Jättefint och bra. Innehållet kan jag presentera med views. Helt fantasktiskt, och jag kan även filtrera vyn med taxonomy som användarsynligt filtreringsargument. Men.

Det jag vill åstakomma är att jag väljer globalt den termen jag vill filtrera mina vyer på. Jag har alltså några olika vyer som jag vill applicera samma användarbaserade taxonomy filtrering på. Tips?

Edit: Kan tillägga att jag gärna har denna inställning kopplad till användarens konto. Den måste åtminstone kunna hålla i sig i en session.

Sorry this is so long. I tried to include as much detail as possible, so it could kind of act as a "recipe" for future websites like mine. (By the way, I didn’t know if this applied more to "Views" or "Taxonomy" so I posted this in both groups. I know duplication is frowned upon, but I know that most people aren’t members of both groups so I didn’t want to select only one group if the solution really lies within the conceptual framework of the other group).

I would be very interested in knowing your opinion and shall appreciate a little help concerning some functionality of RSS news feeds.

The idea is the following: my website visitors should be able to create a single database of RSS news feeds. Simply that could be a single wiki page with many RSS links. Then obviously when the link database becomes big, there will be too many news ITEMS to read. To solve this problem users could set up their own personal keywords, so that the module saves only those news items which matches the keyword.

I'd like to seed a discussion on Contextual overrides for views 2 module, a possible extension to the Interests module (Which i originally developed while working at Agileware and still partly maintain). I would also like to point out contextual based modules already exist, but they are not what this module has in mind.

To give some background on the idea...

For example:

Countries (Vocabulary)

I'm using views.module (altogether with some other modules) to run an events site for my town. I'm trying to get some views from the events nodes (CCK content type) but I don't have a clue how to filter them properly.

Drupal is used as a content management system (CMS) for various purposes; due its power relies on the modules and the fulfillment of all the needs / additional features / patches that has been arisen. However, auto-completion is still left out, except for auto-complete of user name.
