layout

Hi,

I’m working on prototyping a charity-type site with a view to getting a proper developer to eventually polish all the rough edges...

I’m using Drupal 7 and Organic groups 2 with Panels 3.5.

I have got as far as allowing a user to create a Group and create posts and blog posts within that Group but I want to control the layout of the Group page properly using ‘Panels’.

At the moment the page in question has a three column layout something like this:

I'm building a Drupal commerce site and wondering how you'd approach the layout for the body of the following homepage design (see attached). The header is already done. It's the body and footer on which I'd like input. Would you use panels? Simple blocks? Your thoughts, suggestions, caveats, and best practice experiences are appreciated. Many thanks. What I wanted to do was be able to layout images on a page in such a way that I could control the placement and size. I couldn't reallly find anything on this for Drupal 7. This will only work for one image size and image per node, but that was all I needed. However in panels you will be able to combine images. You will need to know how to work with panels, views, and fields (core) for this.

Hi,
I am trying to custom an Omega Subtheme. The real problem that I have at this time is: How show an Advertising block with width 300px only in wide or/and normal layouts?

If I Add a Context to show the block, I have this block showed in every layout.

If layout is wide I have not problem but when layout is narrow or normal or landscape the 300 px width block is to large for the sidebar.

What can I do to manage this kind of problems?

I have been troubling, when set the content zone with 2 region which is Content (8 Grid) and Sidebar Second (4 Grid).

I have facing this issue and really need help, basically I have using the delta to make layout different from other page. right now, i have been theming the layout and facing the stacking for the problem, just to put content region and first sidebar right under the preface first region (attachment).

I am trying to line up three boxes horizontally and evenly spaced. First and Second Sidebar and Content in the middle.

How do I keep my content from touching the left side of the box? I tried some classes in the Additional Region Classes with padding but the last box keeps breaking to the next line.

I am using a 12 column layout each box using 4 columns.

btw they are all placed in the content zone.

I been with drupal for quite some time, havent used other cms's on market but often i heard D is one of most harder to do and learn. Compering to WP for example i was often tempted to try and learn wp as sometimes it seem development of sites was too slow in drupal and in the end its all about time.
