Error Messages

Posted by rpeters on March 20, 2013 at 6:44am

Currently when someone puts a invalid username or passward in the the login form it only returns a red box around the username and password box. I am designing a site for a church that wants to display a message about the error. Is there a way someone can direct me how to do this?

Any CRM Pushers at PNW Drupal Summit?

Posted by newsummit on September 20, 2011 at 12:52am

Are any of you CRM gurus attending the Oct 14 PNW Summit meeting? I'm surprised to not see any proposed sessions related to CRM development/integration.

I'm involved in CRM integration for churches/nonprofits, initially using CiviCRM but want to hear from the voice of experience and see a comparison of strengths/weaknesses of the upcoming solutions (Red Hen, dropCRM, churches CRM, etc) vs established ones like CiviCRM. As a newcomer to the CRM discussion, I'm looking for a bird's eye view of what's happening.

Any chance of a meetup in Portland? Will CiviCRM have a presence?

Church Website

Posted by JamesSharpe on July 23, 2011 at 12:56am

We've just launched our new website using Drupal 7 and CiviCRM at http://www.woodlandschurch.net/. We'll shortly be rolling out a similar design to our other congregations: http://www.the-community-church.net/ and http://www.highgrove.org.uk/ (These are currently running our older Joomla site)

We're using Views, Media, Domain, Context, Organic Groups and CiviCRM to power the site.

I am designing a webpage where I have created cck fields and one is by date. I have exposed the date field so people can search by date, but it seems not to be working. Why is that? What do I have to do to make it work?

New Site - First Baptist Church of Wichita, KS

Posted by boyfly on February 1, 2010 at 5:33am

After 18 months of volunteer development work we launched a new website for our church, First Baptist of Wichita, Kansas. It was a great learning experience and we are all big fans of Drupal as a result. Comments and/or questions are welcome!

The site is at http://fbc-wichita.org

The site was built with Drupal 6. The theme was built from "scratch" starting with the blank Zen theme. Modules in use are:
Audio - for importing sermons
CCK & Views - used in a couple places but not as much as we probably should have
Path - to make nice URLs!

Event Registration Specifications: What are your church's registration requirements?

Posted by bradwade on March 6, 2009 at 4:53pm
I've created a wiki for the specifications: http://groups.drupal.org/node/20933
Let's keep the discussion going here.

I'm trying to get some feed back from the community so that we can develop a solid event registration system for churches. What are your event registration needs? Below is a brain dump of specifications that I have come up with. Comments? Suggestions? Other requirements? Do you want to highlight the most important/least important things from the list for your church?

New Drupal Church IRC Channel

Posted by Rob_Feature on September 20, 2007 at 1:48pm

Hey All!
Many of you may know that mfer and I run the Geeks and God Podcast. In the past we did a 10 part series on building church websites using drupal...there was HUGE interest, and lots of questions. People ask lots of questions about drupal on our website, but I figured I'd offer a more "live" way to talk about building church sites with drupal.

So, today I created the IRC room: #drupal-churches (on irc.freenode.net)

Hopefully we can get a little community going in there. I'll be hanging in there anytime I'm behind the keyboard. See y'all there!
