Salsa

Last year when I was working with OpenMedia.org I developed a "Salsa Webform" module which works with Salsa API and it creates a tab in the webform settings. On that tab you can link your webform fields up to custom fields inside Salsa so that when the user submits the webform the data goes to Salsa.

It is a working module, but still a WIP in terms of performance. Basically the field matching is a bit loopy and if you used it on a large form it might be quite slow.

Somebody please help me , Its very urgent ..

When I am updating the New Salsa_Entity module ,
I am getting this error

Fatal error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in /includes/common.inc on line 7657

Is it possible to get the Salsa action in a Drupal7 website. Please help me . Its an urgent requirement. Will this existing Salsa_entity module is providing this option?

I am new with Salsa . My requirement is to configure the Salsa with for my new project in Drupal 7.
Is this Salsa entity and Salsa Api working ?
I am getting error, i am not able to go to salsa sign up page or profile too. The module readme.txt says retrieving data from is working fine but i am not able to see that ?

Is this my configuration problem? Is there any proper documentation for configuration. Some one please help me.

On All Hallows' Eve (which also happens to be 2011 Salsa Community Conference Eve), Salsa Labs is hosting a gathering at their DC office for Drupal and Salsa developers and enthusiasts to connect with one another and talk shop as well as to enjoy tasty snacks and partake of tasty beverages flowing from the Salsa kegerators and soda fountain. Costumes are not required but are encouraged, and there may even be a cash prize for best costume.

Trellon will organize a BoF in Drupalcon Chicago about integrating Salsa with Drupal. We would like to invite everyone on this group to join us in the BoF.

We would love to discuss with other users of the Salsa Labs frameworks such as Democracy in Action or Wired for Change. Among others we would like to know how you're currently integrating Salsa in your Drupal site, if you're interested in the salsa module, and future directions in its development.

Trellon is happy to announce yet another salsa module (in http://drupal.org/project/salsa), which does a lot more to integrate Salsa with Drupal than the currently available modules.

There hasn't been much activity posted here in some time, so maybe this will get things rolling again. Has anyone done any interesting Salsa implementations recently? We have!

Hey everyone sorry for being MIA for a while there, I've had very little time to pay attention to this project in the last little bit.

However my calendar has cleared up enough that I can get some more work done on this.

I have made some more progress with the api, it now has some functionality to save data back to the database.

I'm working on some documentation for it (ug) and then i'll get the project created and a first release out (for real this time)!

I'm very interested in this module. How far along is everyone? I would love to help out, as I've hacked DIA integrations in the past using mostly hard code and would love a workable module to make it easier.

So I am working on a api of some sort to work between drupal and salsa's external api.

My goals for this is to create something that other modules can use to communicate with the salsa database. For instance, drupal can work on multiple database types because it has code that you submit your query to and it formats the query to work with whatever database drupal is installed on. I hope to do something similar, where another module or someone's custom code can get and save data to salsa easily without having to create all the connection info, format the query, then format the response into something that php can work with.
