Just wanted to put up some ideas for where to spend the money being given back.
Obviously anything mentioned on this page should count as a valid giveback:
http://drupal.org/contribute/donations
The most obvious and valuable ones being a donation to the Association, or to OSUOSL to help with hosting of drupal.org. Association membership fees should probably count against (towards?) your giveback amount.
Giving money to sponsor a local (or non-local) Drupal event or meeting should probably count.
Should paying reverse bounties count? That's less altruistic than other options, but it does help support the community.
Anybody else have ideas for good ways to spend money on the Drupal community? Any objections to anything on this list?

To help define the reverse
To help define the reverse bounty question, here's a list of project looking for financing (http://groups.drupal.org/projects-needing-financing) should supporting one of these count as a giveback?

Needs to be public - open to scrutiny
Good additions. There's probably room for all of these options. The determining factor should probably be openness. Posts announcing the launch of a site and a corresponding donation (and we'll be doing this shortly) should say how much the donation was and where it went.
The openness of that should keep things from becoming an onerous committee-ruled set of guidelines and allow for people to use their best judgment in a way that welcomes comments from peers.
