I'm not sure I see the logic of starting a second games group. It seems better to unify to avoid duplicate conversation and development. Is there a reason you think a second group is necessary?
it is not 'second games group'. the purpose of the above group is to develop game API that will allow you or other developers create games easily. a minor difference.

I'd say keep it to one group. It seems like your other group is targeted towards your Drupal RPG as opposed to generic game development with Drupal.
