How to tell what theme a site is using

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hello,

This site's design: http://flattr.com/ looks very familiar to me. It looks very close to an existing drupal theme, whose name I cannot think of right now. Can you tell?

Is there a way to tell what theme a given is using. I am thinking probably not, but perhaps some of you have figured out some way to make an educated guess.

not drupal I think

You can usually tell a drupal site by going to the home page and displaying the page source. In the top section there are numerous references to the typical drupal folders and files. Doing this on this site shows zero indication it is a drupal site.

Try this on a drupal site or two and the difference will be immediately apparent.

Use builtwith.com

If it is a drupal site, it will have Drupal listed under a heading "Content Management System"

IDing Drupal / Themes

Here's a related post on identifying a Drupal site.

I use Chrome Sniffer

I also came across this Chrome extension for Wordpress and Joomla themes would also like to know if there's something similar for Drupal

this drupal sniffer seems to work well

Hi VMI, This drupal sniffer http://corporate.adulmec.ro/drupaldetect/ is picking up drupal sites for me.

One drawback: it sniffs only the root URL; if you drupal is installed in a subdirectory and you give it subdirectory, it still goes only for the root. But even then it was able to identify drupal through the "Check for 'Expires' value in page header" test, even though all the other tests failed.

is it a drupal site?

To check if is a drupal site,
you can use the chrome Estension
"Drupal Version Check" by White Fir Design.

This post was about finding out the theme, not about checking if its a drupal site

Theme (sometimes) in body class tag

Posted by fejn on March 19, 2016 at 1:35am

I've found that the theme (sometimes) in the class tag for the element. If you
are using a 'subtheme', you don't even get the name of the theme or subtheme in many cases:

http://angeles.sierraclub.org/

runs a custom theme (angeles) based on the BlueMasters-1.x theme. I can't see this info on the site the way I could for bvga2005's site. Occasionally, I have been able to suss out the name of the base theme this way, but it gets harder the more a theme is customized.

Good start, but it still boils down to the original question:How do you tellwhat theme a site is using (or if it's a custom theme).

How to find out what theme a website is using?

Hello

I would like to know the theme used on this websites:

https://www.etq-amsterdam.com/
https://www.etq-amsterdam.com/

Someone can help me with? Is not wordpress theme and https://builtwith.com/ can't find it.

Thanks

Jamile

This is a Wordpress site, not

This is a Wordpress site, not a Drupal site.
A very useful extension to figure out what technologies other websites use is Wappalyzer. Take a look at this blog post: https://www.nodepanda.com/blog-post/what-technologies-do-other-websites-use

For the website you mentioned, I think they use a custom theme, its called "etq2016"

Thanks Simon

Thanks Simon for your answer, but doesn't really work. I tried the Wappalyzer but online shows me wordpress CMS/BLOG and not the name of the theme.

And "etq2016" is the name of the Brand+year, they rename the name of the theme.

Thanks Simon

Hi. I am interested in creating a site which looks similar to this one: https://www.esmt.org and am hoping it was created using a theme I won't have to alter too much. Can someone please tell me which theme was used? Thanks!

I think this is a custom theme....

By using inspect on google chrome, I found some commented references to a johanna2 theme:

I couldn't find references to such a theme, which makes me think it is a custom theme (which is not responsive, so probably no framework there). Hope it helps.

Use Drupalxray.com

Hi JDDicknson,

The most efficient way is to use http://www.drupalxray.com/ it lists down theme and also all modules that has been used on that particular website.

Hi,

How to check what theme and module used by NAR.realtor?

They are using the Gesso
