Hello,
We are investigating using OpenScholar for our University as a means to provide sharing of publications and data among campus professionals and grad students. For this, we have set up OpenScholar online and want to start getting people to sign up for 1-hour tutorials.
Using scholar_event_signup, I want to be able to create events for a tutorial session for OpenScholar at our University. Creating the calendar event works and is easy, but I can't manage to get the Signups tab to appear. I've configured everything in Signups Settings and enabled permissions, but no dice. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks,
Grant

Figured it out
There has to be an option checked within a hidden menu in the Admin bar. If you go to "Content Management -> Content Types -> Event" then you'll see a large menu. Within that menu is an interactive sub-menu with options, one of which is "Signup Settings". You can set the Signup to be enabled for all users/some users/admins only here. There's also settings for signup being enabled by default or not.
Then, for each Event, there are sub-options to enable signup. Took us a while to find it, but we finally managed. Hope this is useful for someone in the future.
