Calling all DrupalChix in Colorado.
After the HUGE success of our DrupalCamp Colorado last weekend, and the upcoming Drupalcon Denver in 2012, we wanted to see how we could get more of you amazing Drupalchix involved in the Colorado Drupal community.
I know getting involved can seem really overwhelming at first, and some gals may be wanting to make it to the DBUG meetings, but really would feel comfortable if they knew someone.
Those DrupalChix among us that helped to put together the DrupalCamp Colorado pre-party would like to open the discussion about starting a new meetup within Colorado for our local Drupalchix. We were thinking once a month, perhaps up north one month, and down south the next, at least to start.
What we need is:
- A date to get this ball rolling.
- A location to meet. A coffee shop will probably work for the first few meetings.
It will most probably start out small at first, but I have confidence that our little group of amazing women will grow quickly. We had 24% of participants at Drupalcamp identify themselves as women ... so I know you are out there ladies. (That's over double the industry standard.)

I'd be interested. I'm a total Drupal newbie but DrupalCamp was a great way to get my feet wet and I'd like to get them wetter yet. Schedule is fairly flexible if given enough notice. Possible location in town Rooster & Moon, 955 Bannock (except Thursday when they host "Geeks Who Drink" trivia and the place gets kind of full).

I live in Boulder, so probably couldn't make any Denver meetings, but if you set some up in Boulder, count me in! Like sjr8545, I'm a newbie and looking to make connections and learn as quickly as possible.
