gdo/la event creation and CAPTCHA error

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

On the gdo/la site, when a new event is created or when changes are saved I get a CAPTCHA error. The CAPTCHA form field does not appear until after I click save. Any idea as to why it is hidden and then appears when the error has occurred? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Mollom was recently disabled

Mollom was recently disabled but I don't know if it was because of the issue reported here. Next time, can you include the text of the error or a screenshot? Cross-posting to http://drupal.org/project/issues/groupsdrupalorg will help, too.

Mollom is still enabled.

Until there's something better at preventing spam before it is posted we will keep using mollom.

To the original poster: that's more or less how the system is designed to work. Please solve the captcha and your content will be accepted.

Ah, my bad. The "report to Mollom" links disappeared (until today, strangely enough) and I assumed Mollom had been disabled.
