New Modules RSS Feed

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I've created an RSS feed for keeping track of new Drupal modules. The feed is updated daily with descriptions of every new module released on Drupal.org.

Modules are only announced when the maintainer has actually published a release to their project page. This is important because it keeps unfinished modules off the list until they're ready to use (or at least download).

More details here.

Difference?

This feed is a little more refined.

The main difference is you only get projects that actually have code. The drupal.org feed includes a lot of "false positives": modules that are nothing more than a description with no published releases. Many of these modules are simply wishful thinking and will never see a real release.

Basically, this list is for people who want to know about modules they can download and install today :)

Thanks

Ah, OK, thank you.
