The meeting announcements on the home page are not up to date. When I went back top my email to get the meeting link (a little after 7) Meetup couldn't process my RSVP. Is this page used for meeting announcements anymore? If not, can a general posting be done to send people to Meetup? Can Meetup be configured to allow people into the event late?

This month (July 14th, 2020) LA Drupal member Mariano Crivello will be presenting "Drupal in the Lagoon," an open source docker management and orchestration tool for developing and deploying to the native kubernetes cloud provider of choice (AWS, Azure, GKE). And member Ashok Modi will present "Maintaining core and modules using Composer."

Does anyone have direct experience (either as a developer or user) of a Drupal8 membership system? There seem to be several choices for D7, including at least one based on Drupal Commerce, but I haven't found any that can handle simple individual membership that controls access to a portion of the site.

Ideally someone would have developer (or at least configurator) experience with a (or a collection of) modules that handle online payment for individual memberships. Membership can be signified with the presence of a particular role.
