Drupal Commerce

Hello, I'm looking for a nice list of Drupal Commerce themes that we can buy/use when we get new ecommerce clients that just want a simple template commerce site?

During Drupalcon Szeged, we spent a lot of time talking about how to handle VAT. Unfortunately I have only a slightly better idea of VAT today as I did before I left for DrupalCon. I would like some input from people in the community who work with VAT on a daily basis.

I'd like to try and answer the following.

1. What is VAT
2. How does it work
3. How should VAT be handled by ecommerce companies inside and outside Europe

Using this information we should be able to support VAT with Drupals commerce systems.

'Micro payments' seem to be a good alternative to generating revenue for various types of sites. For example, a gaming company charges pennies for their users to buy clothing items to decorate their virtual creatures. They have their users pre-pay for these purchases in advance (a 25ドル pre-payment). Then when a user wants to buy a hat for their character, their account can be debited that amount (maybe $.10). This reduces the costs of processing the micro payments and opens up many new possibilities for revenue generation.

@ DrupalCon Szeged we decided to create a group for general drupal commerce questions, help, and planning. Alex UA and myself will be co-maintaining the group, however we want this group to be very community led.

I thought a good place to start would be coming up with a better description than the current "A common, impartial place to discuss Drupal related commerce."

What are your thoughts?

I want to think about this more in the future, but I thought I'd send out an initial ping as something I want to address in Ubercart beginning with Drupal 7. Basically, my question is what is the future of e-commerce in a semantic web? How can e-commerce change and evolve as we move forward?
