Central Alabama

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

Welcome to the Central Alabama group on Drupal.org. If you are from Central Alabama and are using Drupal, speak up and let us know! Introduce yourself in this thread: http://groups.drupal.org/node/67878

Business for Sale

Posted by BamaJohn on February 26, 2018 at 2:20pm

I manage six Drupal websites for 9-1-1 agencies in Alabama. I knew these people from my days as manager of the Shelby County 9-1-1 system and when I retired I started doing websites for others. These agencies pay me 200ドル per month for which I do software updates and add/edit content as requested. Most the sites do not change anything for weeks / months at the time so the labor per month is usually less than eight hours total. I host them on Siteground and pay the 119ドル annual hosting fee for all of them and 14ドル.95 domain renewal for several. My annual gross is about 13,500ドル.

Automated software testing is the best way to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and coverage of your software testing. In this training, you will learn how to automate web applications for testing purposes.

West Florida Folks?

Posted by vordude on November 8, 2012 at 4:27pm

I recently moved to the Pensacola area, and see that there isn't a regular event here out west? Maybe there are some people in the Mobile area?

I'm willing to present, organize and help foster a new meetup if there is anyone out my way who wants to get together to learn/talk/rant about Drupal, let me know.

I'm not opposed to driving to events, but Hopping on I-10 for 3 hours to get to a meetup that lasts that long doesn't sound like a ton of fun.

Hello, I'm looking for experienced Drupal developer who can handle maintenance tasks on part-time basis

Posted by carltonrsmith on November 17, 2011 at 8:36pm

Hi there,
We are an ecotourism company based in Helena, and have a Drupal website (check it out: www.ietravel.com). I have a Drupal firm that is helping me with upcoming big projects: e-commerce, certain other enhancements, etc., but they are quite expensive. I need someone with a strong portfolio who can help out with the routine maintenance and more minor enhancements. I would prefer they be in Birmingham or nearby. We have a test server environment set up on Rackspace, by the way.

Please send inquiries to carlton.smith@gmail.com.

Thanks!!

Looking for Consultant / Contractor

Posted by BamaJohn on May 5, 2009 at 5:52pm

I've recently started using Drupal and would like to find someone in Alabama to do contract work on web sites I help manage. I've enjoyed working with people in Australia and the UK and a few in the US but it would be nice to find someone or a group I could actually meet to discuss ideas and help me through some problems.

The site that brought me to Drupal is www.nena.org our professional association. We still have some features left to install there and I have some smaller association and a church site I want to convert to Drupal that have other needs.

Hi,

I am relatively new to using Drupal (approx. 6-7 months). I am creating a Drupal site and within the site, I want to create a very basic Member List. The Member List that I would like to create would have all registered users with the formatting appearing as:

Last name, First Name
