If I have well understood, it is not related to German Antwort . If I am right, I think it should be mentioned. --Fsojic (talk) 16:36, 7 October 2012 (UTC) Reply

Either the German or the English etymology must be wrong. If these two words, answer and Antwort aren't closely related, than the whole Indo-European linguistic should be reconsidered. Amartin64 (talk) 20:16, 14 September 2016 (UTC) Reply
