Draftification
Hello, SunDawn,
It's always a shock to see a completely empty User talk page.
When you draftify an article, please leave a comment on the User talk page of the article creator informing them of the page move and where they can find the article they started. I see you use a script and it really should do this on your behalf and I'm not sure why. I use User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft which does this perfectly and I encourage you to try it out. It shows "Move to Draft" on the More tab at the top of the page. But please inform content creators that their articles are now it Draft space. Thanks. Liz Read! Talk! 05:13, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Liz! Thank you for the message. Can you be specific on what page seems to be the problem? When I draftify the page I have also send a notice to the editor as well. I have used MPGuy2824 script as well. It looks like another editor recreated the page, which is still not in English. Thank you and have a good day! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 05:55, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
Copyrights for photos
I actually need someone with a deep knowledge of copyrights for uploaded photos in wiki. You may know someone. I've uploaded a number of photos that have been deleted , but I've done much better lately. They're actually many ways to find public domain photos. One of the easiest is photos between 1940 and 1977 (These dates are approximate) that have no copyright indication or copyright tag, though thats a risky way of declaring a photo public domain. It doesn't work well at all for recent photos, and usually photos between those dates, are not high resolution or in color, though they may be in color. If they're from newspapers, they are almost always lousy low-resolution photos. Photos published prior to 1927 in the US are also always public domain, but that only works well for very old wiki biographys. Take care, and let me know what you know. Thanks' for editing my entry for Bobby Patton. I knew him as my coach for around 30 years. Dcw2003 (talk) 17:49, 10 January 2024 (UTC)dcw2003
NPP Awards for 2023
About Nomination AfD
Hi SunDawn, please take a look about my Patraporn Wang article. We both want to improve Wikipedia, but we often disagree diametrically on how to do that. Although I often do not get my preferred outcome, I think these disagreements should go through the PROD/AfD process. That way other editors that have access to different databases than I do or to library resources I don't have, have a chance to improve an article, an outcome that I believe we both want. And for notability the article have a lot of news sources and I will continue to improve finding the references and providing broad research about the article and improving the article in general. Thank you. Rc ramz (talk) 12:07, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Rc Ramz! Hopefully you have a good day. The article is at AFD process right now. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 12:15, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
