Trail of Deletions
[edit ]My Talk page is littered with a history of some of my edits or pages being marked for deletion. I think it is wrong to delete edits, especially if they are sourced to credible news sources. If all we are doing here is spreading information, why is there an automatic need to mark things for deletion ? Why is information threatening ?
I've copied some useful links and information below from somebody else's user page. I hope you find it helpful.

Aaron Swartz on Wikipedia
[edit ]Internet activist Aaron Swartz wrote this about Wikipedia, which I found to be truthful : "an outsider makes one edit to add a chunk of information, then insiders make several edits tweaking and reformatting it." Writing generally of Wikipedia, Swartz separately added that, "The more frightening problem is that people love to get power and hate to give it up."
