Four Presidential Unit Citations?

[edit ]

I believe it is rather two unit citations for two patrols each.JMOprof (talk) 15:10, 25 July 2011 (UTC) [reply ]

Lede, "probably", etc...

[edit ]

Assume the lede was written before wreck was confirmed Albacore. Word "probably" could apply to how the sub was sunk, what date the sub was sunk and where tgecsub was sunk, as it is currently written. But the location is now known, and the word "probably" no longer applies to this fact, although I assume it still does for when and how. Should be a fast fix for an experienced editor.72.181.112.54 (talk) 17:45, 18 February 2023 (UTC) [reply ]

Date of discovery of wreck

[edit ]

I did a little digging and found Dr Ura's blog [[1]] regarding the discovery and it looks like the date mentioned in the Wiki article is consistent with his blog, even though the English translated NHK News Web article is dated 20 days prior to the date he mentions the Albacore being found. Maybe someone who is skilled at editing the page can add some more references. Of course, the blog is in Japanese. Laserray7 (talk) 03:11, 6 March 2023 (UTC) [reply ]
