A disturbingly US centric article.

The US has a much lower availability and use of transit and busses than the rest of the world and consequenly a much lower use of transit passes, yet most of the examples are from the US. Also "bus pass" has a specific meaning in the UK refering to the free travel that the elderly can get on every bus system in the UK. There are probably 10 million such passes in the UK. Although passes can be purchased for many UK bus systems the term traval card or season ticket is widely used for such tickets.--Wickifrank (talk) 23:05, 1 October 2009 (UTC) [reply ]

The content of Travel card was merged into Transit pass on 12 July 2016. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.
