Adding pre-revolutionary France as being plutocracy per William Doyle Oxford History book
[edit ]Literally just a line, based on Doyle's prose: "For in reality France under Louis XVI was governed not by the nobility, but by a plutocracy in which the majority of nobles had no share. Half or more of the nobility were no better off than the average bourgeois, and may were a good deal poorer."
