Muhammad Ali was associated with Pakistan People's Party during his college days but after the 2nd Govt fall of Pakistan people's Party (PPP) he left PPP and Joined Awami National Party for a short time before joining Pakistan People's Party (Aftab Sherpaou group).

Muhammad Ali has 3 Sons and 2 Daughters. He is a Graduate of Islamia College Peshawar and Presently a member of Provincial Assembly. He has been advocating education for women and have established a school for girls with the help of his brother in his village Shabqadar.

He is a Cousin of a a Pakistani s heart surgeon from London, Tariq Khan and Captain Khalid Khan of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) PIA Executive council who is the member of Executive council of Pakistan Airline Pilot"s Association (PALPA). —Preceding unsigned comment added by BBC ENGLAND (talkcontribs) 22:01, 18 June 2010 (UTC) [reply ]
