Canadian vs. American

[edit ]

Clearly, Strand is Canadian-born, but it appears he is a US citizen. See, for example: http://home.comcast.net/~netaylor1/bollingenpoetry.html Chris k (talk) 17:53, 11 October 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

This article has been reverted by a bot to this version as part of a large-scale clean-up project of multiple article copyright infringement. (See the investigation subpage) This has been done to remove User:Accotink2's contributions as they have a history of extensive copyright violation and so it is assumed that all of their major contributions are copyright violations. Earlier text must not be restored, unless it can be verified to be free of infringement. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions must be deleted. Contributors may use sources as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. Broadsides?

[edit ]

Should we be including broadsides in the bibliography? These items (which appear to be broadsides) were recently added:

1975: From Two Notebooks, No Mountains Poetry Project 1976: My Son, No Mountains Poetry Project

I suspect that for Wikipedia purposes it might be better to draw a line between broadsides (not to be included, particularly if they are of material available elsewhere) and chapbooks (to be included). Any other opinions? 850 C (talk) 16:35, 4 August 2015 (UTC) [reply ]

Poetry

[edit ]

The first sentence in this section either needs a unique citation or needs to be more clearly connected to the Perkins citation introduced later on in the section. As is, the sentence reads as original research. Noah Hickman (talk) 22:48, 17 June 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
