Note: Mitsuru Nasuno was never a member of Ruins. Thus, Sanhedolin is not a Keiji Haino/Ruins collaboration... hahaha... Borkorg 07:12, 15 April 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

What does this sentence mean???

[edit ]

"Haino is known for intensely cathartic sound explorations, and much of his work bears an insular singularity" quercus robur 10:42, 22 February 2007 (UTC) [reply ]

Yeah, weird. I've changed it to what I guess the author must have meant and added a citation check. -Lemike 06:22, 6 May 2007 (UTC) [reply ]
'Bear' and 'bare' are not the same. Sheesh. I've changed that line again. Franzeska 18:27, 30 October 2007 (UTC) [reply ]

Influences

[edit ]

Messiaen should be added to his list of influences.

Per The Wire. Issue 257

"So I picked up Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time" because it was cheap. Messiaen was an important discovery for me. It felt like someone had stuck a needle into my ear, less like a muscial experience, more like physical pain or acupuncture. Taken to an extreme, healing and pain are the same thing. Anyway, it was probably the Christian element ff his music that caused me pain."
