Class renaming?

Thanks to whoever improved the name of the article. Is there another article that handles this situation, where the class was named after the lead ship (Hermione) but was renamed during the construction of subsequent ships (Andromeda)?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirk! I renamed this article and the french class and created a dab page. I haven't seen this situation before. We have many articles where ships are renamed but I haven't really seen it with Classes per se. I think we should do it in the same way we do it for batches of ships which is what this seems to be similar to, in that we would just explain it in the prose and potentially have the Andromeda as a separate section. Ultimately if they were more well known as the Andromeda-class then that is where the article should be per WP:COMMONNAME. Woody (talk) 19:55, 19 October 2020 (UTC) [reply ]
