- I agree with the above IP address and ask why does it say Genres sourced in the composition section. Please do not add or remove genres without reliable sources. Thank you. as a hidden message? Where's the composition section? And where's the source? Changing to Rock music as it sounds more rock then country. 184.58.26.34 (talk) 13:41, 13 April 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

- Yes, this song isn't country in any way, just because she is a country artist doesn't make the song country. NYSM talk page 03:39, 17 April 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

Sources such as Taste of Country and The Hollywood Reporter ascribe the song as country (see bottom tags) and country rock, respectively. But I agree, this song does not sound "country." — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrumanShow123 (talk • contribs) 09:39, 27 May 2015 (UTC) [reply ]
Big Machine and Republic released "Eyes Open"
[edit ]Check this and you can see that it was released by both not Universal Music Group and this keeps getting changed people need to stop and if anyone checks the liner notes of the soundtrack it clearly states that Swift appears courtesy of Big Machine Records. This needs to stop being changed. It is not a Universal Music Group release and changing what has been cited without a source is a no-no on Wikipedia. Swifty*talk 23:02, 13 June 2012 (UTC) [reply ]
