Tabloid

[edit ]

Thought that in the future, expressen should be referred to as a tabloid newspaper. --Serrano 14:34, 9 January 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

Expressen is an evening newspaper (as opposed to a morning newspaper), and it uses the tabloid paper format (as opposed to broadsheet). In some countries, this combination is known as "a tabloid newspaper". However, American readers will associate "tabloid" with a less serious kind of publication (as in the article tabloid), and I think that word will give the wrong impression of what Expressen is. --LA2 (talk) 17:55, 18 December 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

Controversies

[edit ]

The description of events during March 2006 is probably not a neutral one, and the text should be edited to be more in line with a neutral point of view. I will wait a little while before editing myself so that the user with IP-adress 84.231.180.14 can have a chance to edit it.--Oden 04:12, 9 April 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

I reacted to the use (and linking) to the word cockroach to describe the chief editor, without a source such a statement seems like it is the opinion of the writer rather than a bona fide allegation.
The statement that a innocent person is going to be sentenced to jail seems a little premature, the case has not yet gone to trial and all the facts are not known. (It is also better to make such a statement from a source, since wikipedia is a gathering of knowledge and not a debate forum). Please feel free to edit! --Oden 02:44, 11 April 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Expressen. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Liberal

[edit ]

Expressen is "liberal" in Swedish, but doesn't this word mean something rather different in English today? 109.89.192.30 (talk) 03:31, 9 April 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
