Excuse me, but aren't you forgetting something?
[edit ]There are other areas of the world that have ethics committees! An ethics committee, as such, could take a wide variety of different forms. I suggest that this page be made more general and that links be made on it to other specific types of ethics committee, as, for example, the EU versions and the US's IRBs.
