Animation

[edit ]

Does anyone else see this article's animation as a distraction? Uninformative? A static map would be more effective in my view. The animation reminds me of early web days when people used to throw up blinking text all over the place-- good at snagging the eye -- that's about it. The problem with this image is that it pulsates too fast. A static map would occupy much space. A good idea could be a controlled pulsation. Is it possible? `'mikka 11:07, 17 January 2007 (UTC) [reply ]
