This station was planned but the line on this side of the Dart was not built. However, the building next to the boat float was operated as a railway station, selling tickets and recieving luggage for transfer across the river to the trains at Kingswear. Note also that the ferry landing was always just that, never the railway station: the old railway station building is still there next to the boat float, was not taken on by the heritage railway and is now a cafe. The use of the term "so-called" should be avoided as it has derisory connotations that do not belong here. Britmax (talk) 19:54, 12 May 2012 (UTC) [reply ]
