@Jm butler and Prudens Hominem:, I was unable to find any sources using "culm bomb", but a handful using "culm ball". Is "bomb" a direct translation from Irish maybe? – Thjarkur (talk) 14:59, 7 August 2020 (UTC) Reply
- Depends on which part of Ireland you are in. Around Kilkenny it was "bomb" but around the Arigna seam it was "ball". I will make that more clear in due course. I applaud your patience. Prudens Hominem (talk) 19:15, 7 August 2020 (UTC) Reply
