You have corrected the article about M/S Color Fantasy from : M/S Color Fantasy is the world’s largest cruise ship with a car deck. To: M/S Color Fantasy is one of the largest cruiseferries in the world. I wonder why? The ship is the largest ferry operating in the world, so why not have the correct information in the article? M/S Color Fantasy is the largest cruiseferry in the world today. Should not the article reflect this? Thanks for your time. Unsigned comment by User:86.135.126.206

True, we should state that Color Fantasy infact is the largest cruiseferry in the world. The purpose of my edit was to change the description of the ship to a cruiseferry instead of "cruise ship with a car deck". Thank you for your time. bbx 14:25, 1 February 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

Specification

[edit ]

Since the prose tag I placed in September 2011 was removed, I will state my reasoning for putting the tag to the "Specification" chapter. The technical details should be listed in the infobox and described in the article body — that's what the infobox is for. The data can also easily be presented in a prose form. That's how it is done in most ship articles. Tupsumato (talk) 09:11, 29 January 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

– Per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:NCSHIPS specifically: an article about a ship not known to have a prefix should use only the ship's name, if that name is unambiguous. Owner Color Line refers to them without the prefixes. Secondary cites. e.g. Businessland, Maritime Executive, Shipping News also describe without prefixes. Move all - Per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:NCSHIPS. From some sampling for each of these, there is very little usage of prefixes. - Davidships (talk) 21:14, 5 June 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
