Name and pronoun issues

[edit ]

There is disagreement within the text of the article itself. Is it BØRNS or Borns? Is it a band (they and their) or an individual stage name (he and his)? I get the sense from the majority of references in the article that BØRNS is a person, but there are references to Borns and plural pronouns, and I'm not certain myself so I don't want to edit anything. It is singular. The one section where plural was used appeared to be vandalism and has been removed. Karst (talk) 07:04, 20 April 2016 (UTC) [reply ]

Someone should REALLY mention Taylor Swift

[edit ]

After all, it is the reason he gained recognition in the first place. Is this not an important event in his career? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AlexanderHovanec (talkcontribs) 00:44, 5 October 2017 (UTC) [reply ]

Discography

[edit ]

If anyone would like to use my Google spreadsheet, I cited this text with the link. Don't use it as a reference as I compiled it via my own personal research, but I hope some will find it as an aid in research of their own. It's simply a list of every known song composed by Børns himself (covers not included).[1] -- AlexanderHovanec (talk) 23:55, 24 October 2017 (UTC) [reply ]

Article name

[edit ]

I redirected the article back to its original name, and this is the reason I supplied:

This is the (stylized) name of which Garrett Borns is known as. It is usually written in all caps (i.e., pencil to paper). Addressing him as "Børns" in the article is still fine though! 👌

Allegations of sexual misconduct

[edit ]

I believe that it is necessary to add the allegations of sexual misconduct against him, so that other girls may be able to be prevented from falling prey to him. Ajkmoise (talk) 19:12, 7 October 2018 (UTC) [reply ]

This requires reliable sourcing, appropriate wording, and adherence to our WP:BLP policy. If you, or anyone else, can do that, then sure. But so far no attempt has been remotely close. Sergecross73 msg me 19:42, 7 October 2018 (UTC) [reply ]

On this topic, I deleted his ACL performance listing, since it was cancelled. [1] HinataSoul (talk) 20:38, 11 October 2018 (UTC) [reply ]
