He is not in fact confirmed to be Jack the Ripper. For following concerns I would actually like to bring the information to a front that 137 years of DNA on a piece of clothing of a victom would likely not even be accurate as it would have most definitely broken down by now even under ideal conditions. Much more so, there cannot BE 100% accuracy in DNA. There may be close, but not 100%. It is improbable if not impossible by now that Aaron Kosminski could be confirmed through DNA. It is actually disgusting that his religion is mentioned at all, wikipedias racism and bias shining through. Hitler doesn't get mentioned as a "German Christian" and yet he committed atrocities to abhorrent to mention. The attribution of the information about Providence Street to a book published by Trevor Marriott in 2005 is certainly incorrect. This information was first discovered by Pat Marshall and published jointly by her and me in Ripperologist Magazine in 2012. In 2005, before the research I did with Rob House, which was later published by him, very little was known about Aaron Kozminski's family and even some basic facts had been got wrong. People didn't even realise Woolf Abrahams was Aaron's brother, let alone that Woolf lived in Providence Street.

Anyone who doubts this can check it, because the text of the 2007 edition of Trevor Marriott's book is searchable at Google Books, and searches produce no results for "Providence", "Woolf" or even "Abrahams". Chrisgp (talk) 13:12, 20 February 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Marriott was added in 2010 to support the claim Aaron may have lived close to the sites of the murders. Rob House changed this in 2013 to Aaron apparently lived either on Providence Street or Greenfield Street, both addresses of which are close to the sites of the murders. Thank you. So Marriott was cited only for the vague statement that "Aaron may have lived close to the sites of the murders".

Rob added the information about Providence Street after Pat and I had published that in 2012, but left the reference to Marriott as it was. It had been known since the 1980s that Aaron lived in Greenfield Street (and also nearby in Sion Square). Can you please reverse your deletion of the source reference I added for Providence Street? By all means leave Marriott there as well if you want to, but I think it is a bit misleading when Marriott was only summarising general information that was well known at the time, and the sentence has subsequently been edited to make it much more specific.
