I think there should be a divide in the article between hyperscalers and neoclouds. It's all mixed together BUT they are different. Hyperscalers are multifunctional, eg Amazon's AWS etc, while Neoclouds practically only provide GPU-as-a-service The term "neocloud" refers to a cloud provider that primarily offers GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) so it's specialized v comprehensive portfolio of services comparison. Also a lot of neoclouds (CoreWeave, Nebius, Iren, TeraWulf, Cipher Digital Inc. (formerly Cipher Mining Inc.)...) are former cryptomining companies - that's also an important fact that isn't stated in the article Born in the shadow of cryptocurrency mining...Most neocloud companies started out in the crypto business ... What is a Neocloud? The Rise of GPU-only Clouds The Bitcoin-Miners-Turned-AI-Neocloud Plays Might Still Be an Underappreciated Trade in AI. Also with Amazon, Google, Meta, Tesla, Microsoft tranzitioning to their own ASIC solutions that difference grows. So yeah, they do the same thing, but are different in way of their origin and the way they work and their dependance on AI growth.~2026-38518-79 (talk) 13:18, 6 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
AI data centers are controversial and this page could be a target of repeated vandalism. ~2026-39713-76 (talk) 15:44, 14 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
@Daniel.Cardenas: Again, per WP:NOSOCIAL and other WP:EL guidelines, we should avoid inserting random links to social/self-published content in the External links section. I reverted but then you inserted again (and see WP:BRD as a reminder). These are arbitrary utterances by one CEO. Please discuss here why you think these are approporiate for WP:EL. --ZimZalaBim talk 18:43, 17 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
- What makes you think it is arbitrary? The article is about ai datacenters and the CEO of a trillion dollar company is making very interesting comments on that subject. Why does that sound arbitrary? What isn't arbitrary? Is the entire article arbitrary? Daniel.Cardenas (talk) 20:48, 17 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
