Birgena

Town in ancient Phrygia

Birgena was a town of ancient Phrygia, inhabited in Roman and Byzantine times.[1] Its name does not occur in ancient authors, but is inferred from epigraphic and other evidence.[1]

Its site is tentatively located near Murathanlar  [Wikidata] in Asiatic Turkey.[1] [2]
